Jungle View Ensuite King Room
Before you book, please read the “Good to Know” section so you’re sure our villa is the right fit.
Staying at Casa de Mono means you don’t need to venture far to explore some of the archipelago’s most beautiful beaches and best‑loved restaurants, all while being immersed in the lush natural splendour of Bocas del Toro. From world‑class surf breaks just a short stroll away to wildlife encounters right from your balcony, you’ll experience the natural rhythm of the island like a local.

Why Stay Here?
Wake to the sound of howler monkeys echoing through the trees, wander down to the sea for a morning swim or surf, and return to the shade of the palms as the afternoon light filters through the jungle canopy. At night, fireflies dance in the gardens and the air hums with the sounds of island life.
Casa de Mono is for travellers who crave connection to nature—without giving up comfort, charm, or thoughtful service. You’re just a short walk from some of Bocas’ best-loved restaurants and beaches, but wrapped in lush private gardens that make it feel like your own secret jungle.
It’s a place to slow down, tune in, and experience the rhythm of the island—not just observe it.

What’s Included in Your Stay?
We’ve added plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay feel both comfortable and connected:
1. Daily complimentary breakfast – Four beautifully situated restaurants each offer between 2–5 complimentary curated menu options. Try a different spot every morning to discover new corners of the island and support our favourite local cafés. (Most dietary needs can be accommodated; if not, the restaurants have additional items available for purchase.)
2. Concierge-style support at no extra cost. We’ll help you plan tours, boat trips, surf lessons, chocolate farm visits, and restaurant reservations with local, vetted guides so you can experience Bocas the way we do. You’ll receive our digital guidebook on booking and find a printed copy in your room.
3. Thoughtful amenities including beach towels, surfboards and snorkel gear for nearby breaks, reusable water bottles, an umbrella for rainy days, a fairly priced mini‑bar, bathrobes, hotel‑quality linens, AC and ceiling fans, a well‑stocked coffee station with premium locally roasted coffee, and eco‑friendly toiletries in refillable containers—ensure you can explore with ease and unwind in style.
4. Light housekeeping every 2–3 days to keep your space fresh and tidy. Linens and towels are changed every 5 days for longer stays to minimize our environmental impact. (There’s a door sign if you’d prefer not to be disturbed.)
5. The Space – This spacious suite is located on the first level of the villa and features a king bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private jungle-facing balcony. You’ll also have access to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, screened with mosquito netting, shared only with the other King Suite above—a lovely spot to prepare meals and enjoy the fresh air.

Good to Know – Please Read Before Booking
We want every guest to love their stay. To help you decide if Casa de Mono is the right fit, here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Noise & Sound Travel: The villa is a traditional Caribbean-style hardwood home, which gives it its character and warmth—but also means that sound travels more freely, especially from the suite above. You may hear footsteps or voices, along with the early morning calls of howler monkeys, roosters in the distance, or even music or noise from nearby local homes or businesses. We have provided white noise machines for optimal sleeping comfort.
2. Spacious & Family-Friendly: This suite is ideal for couples, friends happy to share a bed, or families traveling with children—including babies. Please note that the kitchen is shared and accessible via the back staircase, and some sound from the suite above may be heard, so guests with light-sleeping children should plan accordingly. There is a $20 per night surcharge for infants and children if they require their own bed/crib and breakfast. Please contact us in advance if you’ll need extra bedding during your stay.
3. Jungle Living: You’ll be surrounded by thriving gardens and wildlife. Bugs and occasional critters are part of the experience. If you’re uncomfortable with insects, this may not be your ideal stay. You'll likely spot butterflies, geckos on the walls, hear birds overhead, and encounter the occasional curious insect. We’ve added mosquito netting above the bed and added AC and ceiling fans for your comfort, but this is a place where nature thrives—which is exactly what makes it special.
4. Shared Kitchen Space: The suite includes access to an outdoor, fully equipped kitchen that is shared with one other King Suite. It’s mosquito-netted and a perfect spot for meals, drinks, and a peaceful jungle vibe.
