Staying at Casa de Mono means you don’t need to venture far to explore some of the islands most beautiful spots and best restaurants, while being immersed in the natural beauty of the island. Some of the islands best snorkeling and surfing is a short walk away, and during your stay at Casa de Mono you might have the pleasure of spotting and hearing the howler monkeys, capuchins, iguanas, sloth’s, toucans and a variety of local fauna and flora unique to the archipelago.

Included in your stay, we offer breakfast at 4 beautifully located restaurants, each restaurant offers between 2-5 options for breakfast, which is great value for money as an added extra to your stay at our beautiful villa! We encourage our guests to try out all the options with each new day as they each take you to experience a different part of the island, and are some of our personal favourite places to hang out and eat at not only for breakfast, and is a great way to explore the island and enjoy the Casa de Mono experience as a whole! We endeavor to cater to all our guests dietary needs and requirements, however this is not always possible and in such cases the restaurants do have more options which can be purchased in addition to the complimentary breakfast we cover.

As part of your experience at Casa de Mono, we offer complimentary concierge style service at no extra cost to you. We want our guests to experience Bocas the way we live and enjoy it everyday, and so we love to help plan and book any tours and activities you may be interested in to make sure that you have the most amazing unforgettable time during your visit to Bocas, and if you don’t know where to even start, we have you covered! We have provided a detailed guidebook with our recommendations on what to do, where to go and even where to eat! We can send this to you digitally upon receiving your booking, and we have left a copy in each room for you to peruse at your leisure upon arrival.

We work with tried and tested, responsible tour guides and have done the legwork for you so you can be confident in the knowledge that you’ve picked the best option at the right price.

This villa is the culmination of years and years worth of traveling and dreaming of creating our own little slice of paradise for others to enjoy. During our years of traveling we have picked up things we loved, things we didn’t, important amenities and services and have tried to incorporate all these special thoughtful touches into the experience of staying at Casa de Mono.

A super comfortable bed with good quality linen, a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and clean space, beach towels and complimentary toiletries, surfboards and snorkels to use at our spots nearby, a stocked mini bar fridge at reasonable prices, complimentary breakfast experience, locally produced high quality filter coffee to start the day, beautiful outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you and a magical nighttime setting to unwind after a busy day of exploring!

Sustainability is important to us, and we have implemented some important considerations such as reusable water bottles for use during your stay, rainwater catchment for bathroom and kitchen water use and limited single use plastic in our toiletries and coffee station. These are just some of the amenities you will come to enjoy at Casa de Mono.

During your stay with us and depending on the length of your stay, we provide light cleaning of the spaces every 2nd or 3rd day to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. Please use the door sign provided should you not wish for this.

We will change linens and towels every 5th day only for stays longer than this in order to minimize our impact on the environment.

The apartment is located on the ground floor, so perfect for guests that require step free access.

Its located beneath the main villa, and every effort has been made to reduce noise from above, however there is potential for some disruption from the guests above however should this ever be excessive we can step in and resolve this speedily with the guests above.

Our cancellation on all bookings is firm. You can cancel up to 30 days prior to arrival free of charge. After this date bookings are non-refundable
